Description & Game Features

After having liberally spread death around for the mysterious 'Agency' in the original Hitman, our favourite cold-blooded bald man has decided to do some good old Christian healing by working as a gardener in a Sicilian monastery. But soon enough he's back in the game as the mafia kidnap his new mentor, Father Vitorrio, forcing our assassin to go back to the 'Agency' to help him track the mafia down. Piano wire at the ready, it's time to kill.
The first Hitman game was largely criticized for having a sky-high learning curve and playing more like an impossible puzzler than an action game, Hitman 2 however does away with everything that was wrong with the first game and then adds loads of new items, making for a game which is nigh on perfect.
Those of you who disliked the original because of its almost non-existent save game function will be happy with Hitman 2 as the in-mission saves are there, with the game changing the number of possible saves in reflection of the difficulty level.
The new game is loaded with new features like the enemy suspicion indicator and novel tactics to complete the missions. Need to borrow that fancy suit from an innocent bystander without resorting to violence? Humanely do away with him using anaesthetics, but carefully adjust your dosage or your victim might wake up before you know it then you'll have one angry guy in his underwear running around warning the guards! But if you're feeling nostalgic for the more conventional way of dealing bloody deaths, don't worry the good old arsenal is back (from the sniper rifle to the piano wire). Now you can enjoy these weapons at their fullest as this sequel gives you an option that the original Hitman didn't have; all out run and gun fire fights. So here's a problem: A top secret meeting amongst high-ranking officers is beginning in less than one minute and you're not in position to snipe out your target.
